Working with Windows XP (once a year)

E-hasil with WinXP and IE on Qemu

Ok maybe not once a year :-) ,  but for this particular task, XP and Internet Explorer were quite useful. Then again, we didn’t have that much options do we?

Maybe IE on Wine would have worked, but I didn’t have much time, ahem. Anyone bothered to try it out? I went ahead with an Win XP (image) on Qemu instead. Do people still dual-boot (or triple) these days? :-)

I hope you meet the April 30th deadline.

    Thanks sumardi,

    yeah I got IE installed using the ies4linux script. But didn’t really try doing my income tax submission using it. Perhaps I should have ;-)
